Hi Everyone! Since we have the website, e-mail list, twitter and facebook for the whole year this year, all of the CVCPSA officers will be using our social media. To avoid confusion, we’ll sign what we write so you know what comes from the President, Mrs. Bohaski, from me (secretary Ronda) or directly from Mrs. Kipp. Thanks!
A big thank you to all that participated! An very special thanks to parents and students that helped clean up and move things back into the classroom.
We brought in $625 minus our costs and 10% to the student council. This will be placed in the students accounts.
– Mrs. Kipp
We still need gently used stuffed animals for the Homecoming booth on Wednesday. Please send them in to school with the students.
We still need one chaparone for the IUP trip on October 4. If you can help, please contact Mrs. Kipp LKipp@cvsc.net
This was an informal meeting so no formal minutes were taken. The basic points covered were:
- Tonia Richards is going to be our Treasurer.
- We are having an Applelicious fundraiser in October, dates and more information to follow next week.
- We asked students/parents to donate any stuffed animals to use as prizes for the homecoming carnival booth.
- We kicked off the Andy’s Chocolate fundraiser at the meeting and asked that payments be made by check only to CVCPSA (no cash please).
- We discussed needing chaperones for the upcoming Crimson Hawks Invitational IUP trip on Tuesday, October 4th. Please contact Mrs. Kipp if you can help!
- We invited parents/families to the Bonfire on October 22nd at Scott Park.
- Everyone’s accounts have been updated to reflect monies earned for those who worked the car wash.
- We gave out Letter of Intent regarding the Chorus Trip in April and explained the payment arrangements and the intinerary for the trip.
Any questions please contact Mrs. Kipp at LKipp@cvsd.net
I’ve been doing my best impersonation of a geek and trying to set up some nice communication tools for the chorus boosters so our students and families can get information in a consistent way year after year, no matter who the PSA officers might be.
You are looking at the big one. Minutes from the monthly CVCPSA meetings and announcements will be posted right here. A link to each post automatically goes out to Twitter (@CVChorusPSA). If you want the website posts to come right to your e-mail, just click the “follow” button over there ——————>
The same basic links and information will also be on Facebook. Like our Page (www.facebook.com/chartiersvalleychoruspsa) to get all the good stuff in your FB feed.
Since some people aren’t into blogs or Social Media, we will still be doing a traditional e-mail list too. We have been trying a few different things for the e-mail list. Earlier today I sent an email to the addresses I have. If you didn’t get that e-mail, check your spam folder and add “firstname.lastname@example.org” to your contacts list. If you still didn’t get today’s email, send me a note at the yahoo email address and we’ll get you added.
If you got the email, and are no longer part of chorus, just reply with “unsubscribe” and I’ll take you off the list for future mailings.
If you have any booster or fundraising related questons, feedback or suggestions please contact us at email@example.com.
Please note that mailbox isn’t monitored every day, and it is just for boosters stuff. Any questions or concerns about school or class or academics or a particular student, please contact Mrs. Kipp directly (firstname.lastname@example.org)
