Hadley Kappers will be available at the Thursday meeting to notarize your forms for $5.

Martha Kagle has also suggested checking with your bank, as some banks have free notary services for their customers (but not the general public)
I would add AAA too. They are either free for members or charge a nominal fee. (It’s been a while since I’ve used it)
Whatever notary you use, please don’t forget your forms and the meeting Thursday at 7pm

Hi chorus families!
Please remember that T-shirt payments are $15 and due by March 4th.  These are worn by ALL chorus students at the upcoming concert.  Students may use money in their accounts or raise the money by selling a box of chocolate- $30 check written to CVCPA.
Mandatory meeting this Thursday.
6:40 for chaperones and everyone at 7 pm.  (Chorus room).  Enter the P arts wing at the door across from the MS entrance.
Please bring completed forms if possible.  The UPS at 1597 Washington Pike, right by the high school, has notary service for $10.  Please bring a double-sided copy of your student’s medical insurance card.

Hi parents of CVHS chorus students!
We’re very excited about the turn-out of the 2 Sound Waves recitals and were happy to have raised $211 to help the family of Bryson Ackermann.  Jeff Ackermann was very thankful for the help of all the people that have reached out in so many ways to his family.  He reports that Bryson is doing much better and is now able to walk again.
Our second item of interest is the chorus T-shirt design created by Elayna Czap, with the “FRIENDS” theme.  This T-shirt will be worn on the NYC trip and for the second half of the spring concert on April 11th.  (Evening dress rehearsal on April 8th.)  Cost for the T-shirt is $15 each with the $100 screen preps covered by the CVCPA.  Checks should be written to CVCPA.  Money is due March 8th.
Ask your student for the trip packet they received in class on Thursday, February 21st.The packet includes a cover letter, a take along list, rules, and a 6 page packet that needs completed and notarized.  Requested information includes a double-sided copy of health insurance card and a recent tetanus inoculation date.  (Chaperones will also receive a rooming/ chaperone list).
 
A list of any pending costs is attached to the student’s packet.  Outstanding trip costs MUST be turned in no later than February 28th.  
 
MANDATORY TRIP MTG will be held in the chorus classroom on February 28th at 7 pm.  Please bring your completed packet, if possible.  At the meeting an itinerary will be distributed and questions will be answered.    Completed trip packets must be turned in by  March 4th.  
 
Please help us with the upcoming Bunny Breakfast on March 30th.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and the money made goes to the students to pay for their end of the year dinner dance/ banquet.  Please send in a bag of candy and sign up to help during a 2 hour shift on March 30th from 8:30-12:30.  Contact Wendy Czap at 412-335-4848.

Important updates: Please read

Great job at the 1st evening of Sound Waves.  I was so proud of all of you!
I will re-schedule our second evening when I get back to school.  I have to check dates with those of you who haven’t sung yet and find a date that I can get a bldg permit for the MS commons.

The last payment for the March 14-16 NYC trip is due to our travel agent.  At this point we are missing many payments.  So that we can complete our obligation to the company please bring the rest of your payments in on Monday, February 3rd, along with your pepperoni roll fundraiser.
