Our last meeting is May 5th at 7 PM and details for the end of the year. PLEASE READ!

Hi everyone,

I was so proud of all the students last night.  (Thank you for all the kind comments and flowers.)  It’s great to have live music again…good for the soul!

Our last meeting is May 5th from 7-8 PM in the chorus room.  Please enter door 53.

We need 2 new officers- a replacement for Julia Marple Layton for our Public Relations.  We are also starting a new position- recording concerts!  If you can do this for us next year it would be so awesome!!

Graduation is May 26th.  Singing at the program is mandatory.  I usually have students come around 5 pm and meet on the football field.  After we practice with the sound engineers we come inside and have a pizza party.  Students must stay for the entire graduation because we sing the CV Alma Mater at the end of the program.

We are very low on funds after a very busy year where our money was used to support many programs for the students.  Please consider helping at our CAR WASH at O’Reilly’s from 10-2 PM on May 28th.  We need no supplies- just hands to wash and dry and parents to encourage/help!

Reminders!

Spring break is here!

A few things. Last weeks meeting was great.

Next week is our Spring Concert! Rehearsal is Tuesday the 19th at 6pm. The show is Wednesday the 20th! Chorus members, please arrive by 6:30 in your chorus attire.

The CVCPA will have drinks and snacks to sell. There will be the lunch gift bags families can buy drinks, snacks and small prizes to fill for their chorus members.

CVCPA will also be selling raffle tickets for some great gift baskets! We have 5 so far that are being donated. We still have room for more if you’re interested.

Next meeting will be on Thursday May 5th. Please consider coming to our final meeting of this school year.

We will discuss our next fundraiser for the year which is a car wash at O’Reilly’s in Heidleberg. This will happen on Saturday May 28. Tentative timeframe from 10am-2pm. We will need chorus members to volunteer! There will be a sign up sheet in Ms. Kipps room.

We will also talk about fundraising for next year.

Also, we will need a new office to take over the PR/Social media role as our current officers chorus child is graduating. Julia will bring a document explaining the role. Please consider!

CVCPA mtg Thursday // Concert on April 20th

Hi everyone!!

At tomorrow’s CVCPA meeting we will be preparing for the spring choral / Senior recognition concert on April 20th.

Meeting- 7 pm  Enter door 53

Concert rehearsal- evening on April 19th from 6-8 PM

Concert – 7 PM on April 20th at 7 PM

We have an upcoming car wash in May with the tentative date on the 28th from 10-2 at O’Reilly’s.  Please come help us replenish our general fund!!!!!

We still have a lot of Andy’s pretzels and oreos.  Please sell them and put money in your student’s account for next year!

We still need some gift baskets for the concert! Please sign up if you can.
